The Straame XL crate is 42 inches — 107 by 68 by 75cm — with two doors, leakproof latches and a tray, for £43.99 with 455 ratings at 4.5 stars.
It takes fifth because it is the largest crate here and the one to buy for a big breed, but its own listing measures it in two different orders and its 455 ratings are pooled with the 30-inch version at number six.

An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.5 stars.

Questions people ask
Which measurement is right?
Both describe the same box: the title reads 107 x 68 x 75cm and the field reads 68L x 75W x 107H, so the order changed rather than the crate.
Is it big enough for a Labrador?
42 inches is the standard size for a large breed; one owner bought it for a Labrador pup and reports it fits with room to stand.
Why 455 ratings on two sizes?
Amazon pools the reviews of sizes sold under one product, so the 30-inch at number six shows the same 455.
Are the latches secure?
They are sliding latches described as tamper-proof; no bar spacing is published.
Why is it fifth?
Because it has the size a big dog needs but not the measurements around it.
How many ratings does it have?
455 at the time of collection, averaging 4.5 stars, with 78 per cent five-star and 5 per cent one-star.
