The PawHut 42" foldable grooming table takes the top spot in our guide to dog grooming tables. It is a blue, metal-framed table with a non-slip rubber top, two safety slings to hold the dog in place and a removable mesh tray underneath, sold with assembly required. It is priced at £84.99 and rated 4.7 out of 5 from 522 reviews — a far larger review base than the 4.2 from 39 reviews recorded on the £229.95 hydraulic model in the same guide.

The awkward part of this listing is its own numbers. The tabletop is given as 76 cm high, with an adjustable range of 20-80 cm on a stainless steel bar, yet the overall height is listed as 164 cm — the listing never says which of those two figures describes the surface a dog actually stands on. The specification line for dimensions then reads 60D x 60W x 164H cm, where the 60 cm depth matches the 60 cm width rather than the 107 cm length quoted in the bullet. On capacity, 100 kg at £84.99 is the same claim the £46.99 folding table in this guide makes, and less than the 120 kg claimed by the £72.99 model. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from any test of ours.

What buyers actually say

“Fabulous! A real game changer for home grooming. Sturdy, really easy to assemble and to dismantle to store. We have a dog who wriggles a bit at times so the process is still a 2 person job for us but we don't get back ache and our dog gets a decent groom/ tidy up in half the time it used to take.”

“I was really pleasantly surprised with how sturdy this table is for the money. Very easy to set up. I will leave mine set up but easy to undo the top bar and remove shelf to fold the table away. Good non slip and easy to clean top. My two dogs are less impressed but that's more to do with my grooming skills rather than the table.”
