Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The LAXIHU is the cheapest camera in this ranking that promises no monthly fee, and the listing backs that up with storage rather than software: 256GB card support, alongside a 2K 3MP sensor, remote pan and tilt with a 360 degree view, 2-way audio, barking detection, motion sensing and night vision, with Alexa and Google Assistant support.
Barking detection is the pet-specific feature here, since it triggers on sound rather than movement and is the thing that tells you the dog is unhappy while you are out. The listed dimensions are 7.6 by 7.3 by 11.7 centimetres and it mounts to a ceiling. At the time of collection it carried 2,889 ratings at 4.4 stars. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.
