This PawHut rabbit hutch is number seven in this guide: a grey outdoor enclosure, 52H x 123L x 120W cm, priced at £109.99 and rated 4.3 out of 5 from 75 ratings. It sits 58th in Amazon's Small Animal Outdoor Pens & Hutches category, and it is the one listing in this guide that publishes both an enclosed main house and the size of that house.

The number that will not hold still is the rabbit count. The title says "for 2 Rabbits". The final bullet of the same listing says "Suitable for 1-2 rabbits", and the enclosed house those rabbits are meant to share measures 47H x 42.5L x 42.5W cm — a single 42.5cm square footprint, roofed in asphalt, sitting inside a 123cm run with a bottomless base. Two spec fields also describe a small dog rather than a rabbit: "Breed Recommendation: Small" and "Dog Breed Size: Small". Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing; none of it comes from a hutch we measured, built or filled ourselves.

What buyers actually say

Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon

“Very nice run I have used this alongside another run I have rabbits have been happy hopping in and out. The instructions were easy to follow and it did not take long to put together would recommend this run if you need to extend your outside area”

“Very easy to put together. Instructions say 2 hours but it took about 1. I bought the grey one. It's not as dark as the picture but not bothered. My tortoise has lots of space to explore safely and also has the option of hiding away. It's the first day using it but so far, very happy. Will be applying a wood treatment when tortoise is not using it, as it seems the sort the rot quite quickly.”

Questions people ask

How many rabbits does PawHut say the D51-194CG holds?

The title says "for 2 Rabbits", while the last bullet of the same listing says "Suitable for 1-2 rabbits". The two figures are both published by the seller.

How big is the enclosed part of the hutch?

The bullet gives the main house as 47H x 42.5L x 42.5W cm. That sits inside an overall size of 52H x 123L x 120W cm.

Does the run have a floor?

No floor is mentioned. The listing describes a "bottomless base" so pets can move on the grass and graze.

Is it meant to stay outside?

Yes. The spec field lists the specific use as outdoor, and the build is described as fir wood with water-resistant paint, metal wire mesh and an asphalt roof. The listing says the mesh reduces access from predators and the covered shelter stays dry.

Does it arrive assembled?

How do the 75 ratings break down?

66 are five-star, 17 four-star, 8 three-star, 5 two-star and 4 one-star. That puts 9 of the 75 ratings at two stars or below.
