Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.

The Teeter FitSpine X1 is a manual inversion table at £389.95, with 890 ratings averaging 4.6 out of 5. It sits at number one in this guide, and the number that puts it there is not its capacity but its angle: the listing declares a maximum incline percentage of 100. The £599.95 Teeter LX9 in the same guide declares 66%. The dearer table is the one claiming the shallower incline, and the cheaper one is the one claiming the steeper.

The capacity figures on this listing also behave themselves, which is worth saying out loud given how often they do not. The title states a heavy-duty 136 kg capacity; the spec field gives a maximum weight recommendation of 300 pounds. That is the same figure written two ways, so there is no 136 kg versus 300 lb gap to explain here. The listing does contain typos in its own copy — "Grip-and-Stetch", "acess", "deisgned" — which is a proofreading failure rather than a numbers failure. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon product listing and not from our own testing; we have not used this table.

“Nice equipment, really helped my back pain”

“First, be sure to talk to a doctor or PT before using a device like this for an injury. Depending on where you are in your healing, this can be either a curse or a godsend.A year ago I couldn't sit down, could barely walk, and couldn't sleep for more than 4 hours at a time due to a herniated s1 disc. I'm much better now thanks to physical therapy, doing the assigned exercises and this inversion table.Pros: well built, sturdy, ankle pads are comfortable compared to other tables I've used; doesn't take up as much space as you'd expect; one of the few that will get you fully invertedCons: it does take up some space and though it folds easily, it is heavy to move when injured (though with help it fits easily against a wall (don't put it against a wall if you have young kids) or under a bed)One of the best purchases I've made. The best for my recovery.”
