Rank #7 in Best Padel Racket 2026: 10 Ranked, Advertised Weights Checked
Wilson Optix V1 Padel Racket
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Wilson Optix V1 is a circular padel racket built from a fibreglass weave over low-density foam, aimed squarely at beginners, and it takes seventh place in this guide at £53.56. Wilson's own copy describes a large round head for a bigger hitting surface, precision hole technology for grip and bite, and a comfortable feel — the usual beginner package, with the head shape and the soft core doing the work rather than the price.
The finding on this one runs the other way to most of the list. The bullets never state a weight at all, so the only figure is the Item Weight field at 355 g — 5 g under the 360 g norm used across this selection, and a figure nothing else in the same listing contradicts. The inconsistencies here are elsewhere: the title ends on "Colour:" with nothing after it, while the contents bullet says White; the Size field reads 4-1/4" (2) beside a Grip Size of 4 1/4 inches, with the "(2)" unexplained; and the field "Sport Racket String Installation" is set to Unstrung, a tennis-racket field on a padel racket.
Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing as it appeared to us. We have not hit a ball with this racket, and no figure here comes from our own testing.

Verified purchase“A great starter racket for a novice like me. Slightly boomy, but again it might be me as I master this great sport. Go buy one”
