The PADDEX T700 Raw Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle is a 16mm thermoformed paddle with a T700 3K raw carbon fibre face, listed on its Amazon page as USAPA approved and PBCoR 0.43 compliant. It is priced at £55.99 and rated 4.6 out of 5 from 135 ratings, which puts it at number 8 in our guide to the best pickleball paddles.

This is the listing whose weight figures almost line up. Where other paddles in this guide print one number in the marketing bullet and a much heavier one in the spec table, the PADDEX keeps its two close: the product name and the key bullet both say 227 g (8.0 oz), and the spec table's Item Weight field reads 231 g — a 4 g difference, not a doubling. The disagreements on this page sit in other fields: Skill Level is listed as "All" while Age Range Description says "Youth", and the five bars of the star breakdown add up to 100 while the rating count printed beside the stars reads 135. Every figure here comes from the Amazon listing we were sent; we have not weighed, handled or hit with this paddle.

What buyers actually say

“There's a lot to like about this paddle. The carbon fibre surface imparts a good amount of spin, and having this sort of striking surface along with the fact that it comes with a case, overgrip and a paddle eraser makes it a bargain at under £60. The basic grip is fine, but too small for me, but the overgrip made it ideal. It arrives well packaged in foam in a box.Beginners should appreciate the difference between this and much smoother surfaced cheaper paddles. The Paddex is the same weight, size and shape as a Ronbus R3.16, which is my usual choice. The Ronbus hits slightly softer and gives a more controlled strike, but it's pretty much twice the price. The Paddex balances about 1cm nearer the handle compared with the Ronbus, and for me feels top heavy. But I still happily play with it, although might investigate edge weighting to improve it further.Currently pending USAPA approval means the Paddex is not an official tournament paddle, but it's a beginner-priced paddle and certainly fine for recreational play. Update: the paddle received USAPA approval on 1st October 2025.”
