Rank #5 in Best Power Racks 2026: 10 Ranked, Six Claim 2,000 lbs
Body-Solid Powerline PPR200X Power Rack
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Body-Solid Powerline PPR200X sits at number five in this guide, and it is one of only two racks here that do not carry a 2,000 lbs headline. Its listing gives a maximum weight recommendation of 600 lb — roughly a third of the figure six others quote — and it also carries 231 ratings, one of the two largest review bases in the list. The rack itself is described as a 2" x 2" 14 gauge steel frame measuring 45" x 47" x 82", with 18 adjustment positions, a 41" knurled chin bar, 24" between the vertical pillars and a 10 year manufacturer warranty on frame and welds.
The listing disagrees with itself in several places. The bullet text says the rack "weighs 133 lbs", while the spec field gives an item weight of 21.5 kg — about 47 lb — so the two figures cannot both describe the same rack. The product name calls it Grey, the colour field says Multi-coloured, and the item type name reads "Feeding Rack". The star breakdown adds up to exactly 100 across all five bars (72, 16, 6, 1 and 5) on a page that lists 231 ratings. Every figure on this page is taken from the Amazon listing for this rack; none of it comes from testing by us.
How those 231 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.4 stars.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“This rack was a good value for the money. I selected it because of the height. I had a low ceiling and this was one of the few racks that just barely fit in my basement. Be aware that you will also probably be purchasing a bunch of accessories for it. You will want some weight plate holders and maybe another set of bar holders. Also I used a land mine attachment that works well with this rack. Overall I'm pleased with this purchased for the price I paid.”
Verified purchase“I bought this Power Rack in 2010 and it is still going strong. I've disassembled and reassembled it a few times as I moved and it was easy enough to do without instructions. I couldn't have asked for more bang for my buck.I did eventually replace the bar safeties with a couple rogue fitness strap safeties and they work great. The Cable accessory is also an excellent addition and well worth the money. If I have one complaint is the gnarling is super aggressive on the pull-up bar, but I just either wear gloves or toss a towel up there.”

Questions people ask
What is the Body-Solid Powerline PPR200X rated to hold?
The listing's own spec field gives a maximum weight recommendation of 600 lb. That is the figure for this rack, not the 2,000 lbs headline that six other racks in this guide share.
Does the listing agree on how much the rack weighs?
No. The bullet text says it "weighs 133 lbs"; the spec field lists an item weight of 21.5 kg, which is about 47 lb. Both cannot be correct for the same rack.
How much space does the Body-Solid Powerline PPR200X need?
The listing gives assembled dimensions of 45" x 47" x 82", with 24" between the vertical pillars. One reviewer picked it specifically because the height just fitted a low basement ceiling.
How many adjustment positions does it have?
18, according to the bullet text, covering squats, flat, decline and military presses as well as shoulder shrugs and calf raises.
What warranty comes with the Body-Solid Powerline PPR200X?
The listing states a 10 year manufacturer warranty on frame and welds, and the spec field lists EU spare part availability for 10 years.
What is included in the box?
The spec field lists included components as "rack". Reviewers mention adding weight plate holders, a second set of bar holders, a cable accessory and replacement strap safeties separately.
