Rank #9 in Best Power Racks 2026: 10 Ranked, Six Claim 2,000 lbs
WINNOW WN-896 Power Rack with Pulley System
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The WINNOW WN-896 is number nine in this guide, and it is the cheapest rack named in it: £331.49, against the £877.74 and £737.37 the guide quotes for the two cable-crossover listings that share one shell. It is also the lightest rack in these pages — 29 kg on the Item Weight field, where the five racks carrying the same 2,000 lb catalogue line are listed at 34.2 kg, 36.1 kg, 36.4 kg, 36.8 kg and 38.2 kg. WINNOW's own headline figure is a different one: the listing's Tension Supported field reads 1,000 pounds, half the number six of the ten racks here share.
Where the tension figure is modest, the review base is thinner still: 11 ratings averaging 4.7 out of 5, with the listing's own breakdown showing 84% five-star and 16% three-star and nothing at one, two or four stars. The guide names review bases of 231 and 1,239 ratings on two other racks; this one has 11. The same listing also carries a Best Sellers Rank that reads "1 in Power Cages". The frame is quoted as carbon steel, 1.5 mm thick, on 50 mm × 50 mm columns, and the listing gives 119.4D × 74.9W × 206H cm as the cage's external size. Every figure on this page comes from the Amazon listing as supplied to us — we have not assembled, loaded or tested this rack.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“This is a solid piece of kit! Very well made. I can say it's strong and holds a lot of wegiht. Doesn't move around at all and even when doing pull ups the frame is sturdy and makes no noise even when doing T2B ect.. pulley system work very well. Very impressed with it. Also my landmine rows come damaged and they are resending me one out. Last the delivery was impressive asked to be sent ASAP and on 3 days it was all here! Would definitely recommend for a start up gym for sure.”
Verified purchase“Really pleased with this power rack and cable attachment. You worry when there are not loads of reviews you may receive something rubbish but honestly this seems like a great bit of kit.It took me about 2-3hrs to build (including the pulley and on my own) - instructions were good but I still made a few mistakes (note the directions of holes on the drawings as the parts like the uprights are not symmetrical) - also recommend having sockets for the bolts as it can be a bit fiddly to do with a spanner (but totally doable). Oh and with the pulley my instructions didn't fully match what the drawing showed, mine seemed to come with an extra pulley wheel. This did cause me to think I was missing a couple parts but I suspect the design has just been altered and the instructions have not been updated? Basically on the instructions it shows 1 wheel at the front top position with some L brackets, but on mine there were slots for 2 and a wheel and fixings to attach it, but no L brackets. The rack feels solid and from all the ones I looked at around this price point it seemed the most thought out and had the most features I wanted, such as plate holders, the safety arms, the attachment for doing rows etc.”
