Rank #5 in Best Roman Chair 2026: 10 Ranked by Frame Weight, Not Capacity Badges
MAXXUS 7-in-1 Foldable Roman Chair, 150 kg
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The MAXXUS Roman Chair 7-in-1 is a foldable hyperextension bench listed at £169.99, fifth in our guide to roman chairs. It undercuts the two chairs above it on price — the £224.31 SIRHOME and the £331.64 CAP — and it quotes its capacity in metric rather than in pounds: 150 kg, against the 300 lb badges further up the page. Those two figures are not the same number dressed differently. 300 lb is roughly 136 kg, so the chair sitting at number five on price is also the one claiming the higher ceiling.
The listing's own fields are less tidy than its headline. The title says MAXXUS, but the Brand Name field in the same record reads GORILLA SPORTS, the manufacturer is Gorilla Sports GmbH in Germany, and the model number is GSMX-600417-00019-0001. The 150 kg figure appears twice — under Maximum Weight Recommendation and again under a field labelled Tension Supported, which is an unusual label for a bench with no tension to support. The rating split does match the score shown: 10 marks at three stars, 44 at four and 46 at five work out at 4.36, which is the 4.4 on display. Those same numbers, though, total 100, and the listing reports 13 ratings. As with every page on this site, everything here is taken from the Amazon listing for this chair and not from any test or measurement of our own.
