Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.

InBody is best known for the professional body composition analysers used in gyms, and the H20N is its consumer model. The listing describes a floor scale with a 330 pound maximum capacity, a plastic body and a unit weight of 2.7 kilograms, measuring body fat and muscle mass alongside weight.

The specification is deliberately sparse compared with the app-driven scales elsewhere in this ranking: no connectivity is named in the table, and the readout accuracy is described only as within industry standards rather than as a figure. It is also the lowest rated entry here, at 3.8 stars, with the largest share of one-star ratings in the comparison, so the distribution bars are worth reading in full before buying. It carried 533 ratings at the time of collection. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.

What buyers actually say

“I’ve tried a few home smart scales.First being - Renpho scale, but it died on me pretty quick. Tried Fitbit Aria but there was a whopping 6% difference in body fat from my gym’s scale.I noticed the gym’s scale was the same brand as this product and purchased it during the promotional period. Measurement between the gym one and mine is pretty consistent.Price is a bit high, but this one’s given me the closest readings compared to professional equipment. Alright so far, app isn’t bad either.”

“It's just a scale. Coincidentally, I had an Inbody 520 test the same day this scale arrived. Compared to the more expensive commercial grade scale, the % difference was as follows: weight 98.5%, bodyfat 86.8% and muscle mass 102.2%. The visceral fat was approximately 75%. So if you weighed your self on this scale to be 100 kg, the inbody 520 would show your weight as 98.5kg.”
