Coming from a cassette type stove, even with a proper heat diffuser base kettle, the water boiling speed of this is outstanding!Easy ignition and set up time. All very neat when packed down. Comes with two spare O rings which is helpful.Also cooks bacon rapidly as well, but the flame is more concentrated so need to turn the bacon a lot even with a heavy based pan.Only let down is that the neoprene gapes a bit when boiling water - I'll take it though.”

Cooked burger and onions for a cheese burger supper using a normal small frying pan from my home cookware. Good to use and look forward to using again. Bought primus gas canisters x 2 always have a spare just in case. It was easy to use and I look forward to using it again soon. I looked at a lot of reviews and felt it was going to be the one for me. I would probably just keep it for boiling water and use alternative pots either with heat exchanger bottom or normal for other dishes. I quite like the look of the fire maple mess kit and rack though. I travel with car so space isn't an issue for me but I certainly love the quick boil.”
