Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The CASTLOVE is the only fabric chair in this ranking and the one that quantifies its comfort: a 14cm thick high-density foam cushion under linen, with a high back, head support and flip-up arms, for £109.99 and 4.4 stars from 332 ratings.
It takes fourth because of that cushion and the material: linen breathes where PU does not, which for a chair you sit in all day is the difference between comfortable and sticky. It publishes no capacity and no seat height, and at £109.99 it is the second-most expensive chair here.
How those 332 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.4 stars.

Questions people ask
Why fabric rather than leather?
Airflow. Linen does not build up heat the way a PU leather cover does, which matters if you sit for hours.
How thick is the seat?
14cm of high-density foam according to the listing: the only cushion thickness published in this ranking.
Do the arms fold up?
Yes, through 90 degrees, so the chair tucks under a table, with the listing claiming a square metre of floor space back.
What is the weight limit?
Not published. The SIHOO and the SONGMICS both state a capacity; this listing does not.
Is it good for a home office?
It is the chair to choose here if you dislike leather-look seats: a deep cushion, a high back and a breathable cover.
How many ratings does it have?
332 at the time of collection, averaging 4.4 stars, with 72 per cent five-star and 4 per cent one-star.
