The Gupamiga Playpen is a white and grey plastic panel pen listed at 150 x 180 cm, and it takes second place in this guide. Its listing gives a floor area of 27,000 cm², which is 2.7 m² — the same figure you get by multiplying 150 cm by 180 cm, so the footprint and the floor area field agree with each other here. At £98.99, that is roughly £37 for every square metre of floor the pen covers.

The fields that tell you least are the ones you might reach for first. Folded size reads "kompakt", the German word for compact, so the listing never states how small it packs down. The colour field reads "white 6+5+1" — twelve panels in total, which lines up with the -12 at the end of the manufacturer part number PLP-WL071-12. On the rating side, the star bars add up to 100: 75 at five stars, 10 at four, 4 at three, 4 at two and 7 at one. That averages to about 4.42 and matches the 4.4 shown beside the 4,609 ratings. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing as it was presented to us; we have not tested the playpen ourselves.

What buyers actually say

Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon

“This playpen is really easy to set up... I did it in about 10 minutes. The size is great; I got the 6+5+1 size and it's big enough for me to lie down completely flat (I'm about 5ft 4).It's also really practical for my baby, as he's started to crawl and explore more. I'm currently decorating, so it keeps him off the unfinished floor and gives him a safe space if I need to step into another room.It feels quite durable and stable, and it has rubber grip attachments you can add to help prevent it sliding across the floor. My baby is currently 6 months, so I can't say how well it would hold up for a 2-year-old yet. But for now, it does exactly what I needed it to do... keep him safe with plenty of space to play, roll around, and practice his little yoga poses.”

“Pleasantly surprised by how good this is! High quality plastic, easy to adjust to the size that suits you, quick and easy to lock in pieces and a nice little gate. High enough to keep baby in but low enough that you can step into it (I'm 5ft and its high but manageable). First time setting it up did take an hour or so while we figured it out and matched the sides, but has been quick and easy to adjust since then. Each peice has a nice weight to it. When collapsed its quite compact but still would take up a bit of space storing. As durable as it is, I don't know how well it'll hold up with him (7 months) in another 6 months or so, but for now its great.”
