The Snailax SL-236 Full Body Massage Chair Pad sits at number 9 in this guide. It is a corded shiatsu seat pad — 8 shiatsu rollers in the back, 4 rotation nodes in the neck, and an optional infrared heat function — that you strap to an office chair, a dining chair, a recliner or a sofa rather than a chair in its own right. At £169.99 it is one of the dearer pads here, and it carries a 4.2 rating from 3,885 ratings.
The number worth checking on this one is the pack count. The specifications table lists Number of Packs as 3, while Unit Count on the same listing reads 1.0 count. Those two figures describe the same purchase and only one of them can be right: nothing in the bullets, the price or the reviews suggests three massagers for £169.99. Everything below comes from the Amazon listing for the SL-236 — its bullets, its specification table and its customer reviews — and not from any testing we carried out.
How those 3,885 ratings break down
