Rank #2 in Best Bathroom Vanity Units 2026: 10 Ranked, and Where the Specs Contradict Themselves
VeeBath Sphinx 600mm Free Standing Vanity Unit, White Gloss
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
This is the runner-up in our guide to bathroom vanity units: the VeeBath Sphinx, a 600mm free-standing cabinet in high gloss white with an integrated rectangular basin, listed at £123.99 and rated 4.3 out of 5 from 866 ratings.
The finding on this listing is a width that cannot be right. The DIMENSIONS bullet reads "Height: 820mm, Width: 6100mm, Depth: 400mm" — 6100mm is ten times the 600mm in the product name, and wider than most bathrooms are long. The height and depth are plausible for a unit this size; the width is the outlier, and it is worth checking against a second field before you order. What the listing is consistent about is the basin: the title calls it a rectangular sink, the slim-edge bullet says it is manufactured from ceramic, and it has one tap hole plus an overflow for a mono mixer. Inside there are two compartments split by central shelving. It does not, however, arrive built — one bullet says "Delivered Flat Pack", and four of the six reviews shown on the page mention how easy they found it to assemble. Everything on this page, including the price and the ratings, comes from the Amazon listing rather than from a unit we bought and tested ourselves.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“Very good value for money. It is a flat pack but easy to put together and looks good when finished. The sink is decent too. You could pay a lot more.”
Verified purchase“This unit has a quality finish and looks good. I like the doors which close quietly on their own and the chrome handles finish them off. The washbasin is also good quality and I can't fault the unit. Easy to assemble with a perfect fit.”
