Rank #9 in Best Modern Chandeliers 2026: 10 Ranked, and the Bulbs That Aren't Included
HOMCOM Gold Tone Crystal Chandelier, 8 G9 Bulbs
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
HOMCOM's gold-tone crystal chandelier is the ninth of the ten ceiling fittings in this guide, at £74.50, rated 4.7 from 64 ratings. It is a flush ceiling mount, corded electric, 240V, indoor only, and the name quotes 225 crystal pendants in high-transparency glass. It takes eight bulbs and none of them come in the box.
Bulb counts are where the listings in this guide usually fall apart on a second reading — the £76.49 gold chandelier is titled '6 Lights' and lists '6*E14' in its bullets while its own spec field says 5, and the silver 80cm HOMCOM says 5 E14 sockets in one bullet and 'Number of Lights: 1' in its specifications. This £74.50 HOMCOM is the exception: its bullet says it requires 8 medium-base G9 bulbs and its specification field says Number of Lights: 8, the same figure twice. Where it stops adding up is the wattage. Eight sockets rated at 25W maximum each allows 200W, while the wattage field states 150 watts. It also quotes no lumen figure anywhere — with the sockets empty, light output is whatever G9 bulbs you fit. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from our own testing of the fitting.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“Great ceiling light and 100% worth it for the price. The brightness is excellent with the right G9 bulbs. Assembly can take around 2 hours, and I'd recommend having two people for the whole process, but once it's up, it looks fantastic.”
Verified purchase“Beautiful lights, I am so pleased with them.I bought 2 of these for my lounge the glass is good heavy quality and naturally sparkles in sunlight. I would definitely recommend buying, if you are looking for a touch of glamour. Very elegant looking.”

Questions people ask
Are bulbs included?
No. The listing says this HOMCOM ceiling light requires 8 medium-base G9 bulbs, not included, compatible with LED and halogen up to 25W max each.
How many bulbs does it take, and do the listing's own figures agree?
Eight. The bullet says 8 G9 bulbs and the specification field says Number of Lights: 8, so the same figure appears in both places.
The specifications say 150 watts — can I fit 8 bulbs at 25W each?
Those two figures do not agree. Eight sockets at 25W each allows 200W, while the wattage field states 150 watts.
What is the rating?
4.7 from 64 ratings. The star breakdown in the listing data adds up to 100 ratings (1 one-star, 3 three-star, 16 four-star, 80 five-star), which does not match the 64 quoted.
How hard is it to install?
The listing supplies 1 cross hanging board, 4 screws, wall plugs and a pair of gloves, and recommends professional installation by a qualified electrician. One reviewer reports around two hours' assembly and suggests two people.
Where can it be used?
Indoor, not water resistant, and the listing gives bedroom, dining room, living room, hallway, kitchen, lounge and kitchen island over a table. It is controlled by a push button.
