The Tegeniss Double Mattress is a 25 cm mattress with memory foam, cotton and pocketed springs, vacuum-compressed and rolled into a box. It sits at number seven in this guide, priced at £117.79 and rated 4.6 out of 5 from 73 Amazon ratings.

Tegeniss's own specification is unusually tidy on size and unusually odd on springs. The size field, the item dimensions field and the depth field all agree on 135 x 190 x 25 cm, which the Niqooia and NIXNAP listings in this guide do not manage. The coil field, however, reads 71. This guide's two £149.99 mattresses declare 650 and 350 springs respectively, so 71 pocketed coils in a double is a far lower figure, and Tegeniss gives no further breakdown of it. The item weight is listed as 17 kg, below the 23.9–28.5 kg band the other 25 cm mattresses here declare. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from a mattress we have tested.

What buyers actually say

“We got this mattress whilst reduced and I must say for the price. We find it great! I would recommend having a lot of space when opening as it springs out as soon as the plastice wrapping is cut.We left it for the 72 hours as recommended and there was no smells from it. Found it comfy. I would say it is firm (I weigh 59kg) hubby says it's medium although he is bigger. Hubby suffers with back pain and we really needed a new mattress as with our previous 1, he was so uncomfortable and woke up sore although that hasn't been a problem since getting this one. Kicking myself that we had spent hundreds on other mattresses and they weren't as comfy as this 1.Hubby says it's like sleeping on a hotel mattress.I'd def recommend. It is thick and comfy 🙂”
