Questions people ask
Will it soundproof a door?
No. It will reduce the whistle through a gap, but acoustic sealing needs mass and continuity rather than a foam strip.
Where does it work best?
Around frames, window reveals and the edges of doors, in gaps of a few millimetres.
How long is it?
Six metres, which matches the dimensions field of six metres by two centimetres.
Is it waterproof?
The foam is closed cell, so a wet door frame will not destroy it, which is what the claim means in practice.
Why is it cheaper than the silicone strips?
It is foam rather than silicone and it is narrower, so it uses less material per metre.
How many ratings does it have?
2354 at the time of collection, averaging 4.4 stars, with 67 per cent five-star and 4 per cent one-star.
