“I’m very happy with this humidifier. The black design looks sleek and modern, so it blends in nicely with my bedroom decor. It is also extremely quiet when running. I can barely hear it at night, which makes it a good choice for sleeping.​One of the biggest advantages is that it does not make the surrounding area or floor damp. I previously owned another humidifier that often left water around it and made the floor wet. This one produces a fine, consistent mist without creating that problem.​I also appreciate that there are no bright lights disturbing my sleep. “I have no complains about this. It's a good size and lasts 2-3 days being run all day, depending on how high I set it. The amount of mist is adjustable on a dial like the volume dial on a car stereo, meaning, there is no low-medium-high stopping points, but a smooth continuum, making it possible to finely adjust the amount. The mist that comes out is visible, yet so fine that it doesn't feel wet to the touch. (This is my first cool mist humidifier so I'm amazed.) It humidifies our bedroom nicely and I can tell the difference when it has been off.When I put the humidifier near my side of the bed, I can feel that it cools the air somewhat. It is winter, so I put it on the other side of the room, and I don't notice any temperature difference. One might like the cooling effect in the summer.The device can be separated into its base, the fill bucket, and the lid. They all just set on top of one another securely, but without having to screw them on or snap them into place. There is always some water still remaining in the base when I take the "bucket" off, yet it doesn't spill, even when I carry it across the room. At least one reviewer said it would spill, but that has not been my experience. Maybe if I jostled it on purpose or tripped over something, it might slosh over the side, but there is a nice slip protecting it from sloshing too much.Lastly, the cord is a good length without being exceptionally long. (Maybe 5 feet?)”
