The Keepsmile strip is the top entry in this guide, and on price per metre it is the cheapest way here to cover a large room: £14.99 buys 30 metres of tape as two rolls of 15M, a remote, a Bluetooth app with 16 million colours, 64 scene modes and a timer. It is rated 4.4 out of 5 from 25,489 ratings. The listing marks it Not Water Resistant and Indoor, which matches the bedrooms, kitchens, stairs and ceilings it is sold for.
Two things on the listing do not line up with each other. The wattage field reads 17.6 watts across 30 metres of tape — roughly 0.59W per metre — while the voltage field reads 24 volts through a corded power adapter. And the title counts two rolls of 15M, while the Number of Items field on the same page says 1. Everything below comes from the Amazon listing as it stands, not from a test we ran.

Verified purchase“These lights are very good especially with music the only thing they don't tell you in the instructions where you can safely cut them if necessary. UPDATE, after Emailing the company Ive found that they can be cut at the point where there are 4 small metal strips. I cut mine successfully just after this point and they work just great. UPDATE I've had these less than a week now and at first they were great but now most of the options on the app don't work. The scene part does nothing at all and in the Rhythm part only two of the options do anything. It's a shame because they were good. I shall have to take them down and bug some better ones”

The title says 30M, supplied as two rolls of 15M. The Number of Items field on the same listing says 1, so the two figures do not agree.
What wattage does it draw?
The wattage field reads 17.6 watts and the voltage field reads 24 volts. Spread over 30 metres of tape, that is roughly 0.59W per metre.
Can it be used outdoors?
No. The listing gives Indoor Outdoor Usage as Indoor and Water Resistance Level as Not Water Resistant.
How is it controlled?
The bullets describe a remote control and a Bluetooth smart app with 16 million colours. The Control Method field lists Remote only, with Bluetooth shown separately under Connectivity Protocol.
Does it work as an alarm clock?
Yes. The Special Timer bullet says the wake-up time and end time can be set so the lights switch on and off automatically, and Timer is listed under Fixture Features.
What comes in the box?
Included Components lists a 4 Pins LED Strip, power adapter, remote control, user manual and white controller box. Power and Plug Description is Corded Electric, not USB.
