I bought it to remove floor tile grout and then realised it was powerful enough to saw through adhesive and backer board to clear up thresholds. Later I used it to slice the brass off a jammed and burred tap valve to provide two flat surfaces to get an adjustable wrench around. I've just used it to make hinge mortices for a door.
