The REALGLOW Umbrella is a 13kW propane heater on caster wheels: a 2.2-metre pillar with an umbrella reflector, push-button ignition, a tip-over switch and a flame failure device, supplied with a hose and a 27mm regulator. The listing says it takes 5kg, 11kg or 13kg patio gas bottles.
Two numbers in the same listing deserve separate treatment. The heat output is 13kW, which is real radiant heat for a group around a table. The "maximum temperature setting" of 100 degrees Celsius is not a measurement of anything you will feel, and the coverage figure of 200 square feet is about 18.6 square metres — a usable number, unlike most in this category.
