MCombo Triple Motor Riser Recliner with Power Headrest
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The MCombo Triple Motor Riser and Recliner Armchair takes third place in our guide to recliner armchairs. It is a grey fabric lift chair at £685.90, rated 4.4 out of 5 from 260 ratings, with a power headrest, 8 vibrating massage points, one lumbar heating point and a footrest MCombo describes as extended to stop your ankles dangling.
The number that stops you is in the listing's own first bullet. It is headed "3 Motor Riser Recliner", and then, in brackets, the same bullet reads "Dual motor plus adjustable headrest, also is a triple motor recliner". Read together, the third motor is the headrest motor — and the listing's own Special Features line already lists "Adjustable Headrest" as its own entry, separate from the backrest and footrest. So "triple motor" and "dual motor plus adjustable headrest" are two descriptions of one chair at one price. MCombo is not hiding anything, but the headline number counts something the spec sheet counts separately. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing; we have not tested the chair ourselves.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“Very heavy, came in multiple packs. Comfortable with the added benefit of gentle heat and massage. Will definitely require some muscle to assemble. DPD driver was lone working and had to ask me a 5ft nothing female to help him get it off his van and into my ground floor flat. I would buy again”
Verified purchase“I bought 2 chairs and I am delighted with them. I fell and broke vertebrae in my lower back earlier this year and in the recliner I had I put a hot water bottle so it's great having the heat. I'm waiting for a knee replacement and needed to put a pillow under but now can sit with my legs in comfortable position without the back going down to almost lying and needing pillows to sit with a straight back. 2 of my nephews assembled it quite easily. It took 3 times for them to finally be delivered because I have just moved into a flat in a complex for the elderly and DPD don't put 2 people on their van so as it took 2 men to load the chairs on at the depot it was not possible for the driver to unload them and take them up 2 flights of stairs. I told them that it was upstairs and they have delivered other things to the complex so they know the location. For the 3rd attempt I managed to get my nephews to take them up. I thought that I was going to have to cancel and get my money back. If I were you I wouldn't get DPD to deliver heavy items. My niece managed to get onto customer service who spoke to the Dundee depot, which is only about half an hour's run from me but they refused to pud another man on. Fortunately the second driver got my nieces phone number and said if we could get help to bring them upstairs he would come back another time. It was only because the driver was such a good person that I got my chairs . No thanks to DPD . I'm very happy that the chairs have been worth the wait.”

Questions people ask
How many motors does the MCombo riser recliner actually have?
