Rank #3 in Best Red Light Therapy Panels 2026: 10 Ranked, Specs Fact-Checked
Hooga HG300 Red & Near Infrared Panel, 60 LEDs
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Hooga HG300 is the third panel in this guide: a £149 corded red and near infrared light panel with 60 LEDs, rated 4.4 out of 5 from 31 ratings. It is the entry-level model in Hooga's HG series, and the ad says so plainly rather than dressing it up — "no unnecessary features", in its own words.
The interesting part of this listing is how little there is to catch it out on. The product name says 60 LEDs at 660nm and 850nm; the first bullet says 60 5W LEDs; the wavelength bullet repeats 660 and 850 in a 1:1 ratio; the spec table lists 60 lights. Nothing contradicts anything else. The wobble is elsewhere: the same bullet calls the HG300 "a full body device", and the spec table gives its dimensions as 30.5 x 21.6 x 6.4 centimetres. Everything below comes from the Amazon listing as it stands, not from any testing we have done.
How those 31 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.4 stars.

Questions people ask
How many LEDs does the Hooga HG300 have?
60. The product name, the first bullet and the spec table all give the same number, and the bullet describes them as 60 5W LEDs.
What wavelengths does the Hooga HG300 use?
660nm red and 850nm near infrared in a 1:1 ratio, the same pair that appears in the product name and in the wavelength bullet.
How much irradiance does the Hooga HG300 deliver?
Hooga quotes more than 100mW/cm2 at the surface and at least 73mW/cm2 at 6 inches. Those are the only two irradiance figures given, and each one comes with a distance.
Is the Hooga HG300 a full body panel?
The bullet calls it "a full body device", while the spec table lists it at 30.5 x 21.6 x 6.4cm — just under 31cm on the longest side.
Why does the Hooga HG300 specification say 5 watts?
The bullet describes "60 5W LEDs", so 5W reads as a per-LED figure. The listing gives no total wattage for the panel as a whole.
Does the Hooga HG300 come with batteries?
No. The spec table lists "Batteries are Included: No" and the power description is "Corded Electric".
