Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.

The ECOVACS DEEBOT T30e Omni takes eighth place in our robot vacuum ranking, and it is a well-specified machine, particularly for homes with pets. Its ZeroTangle 3.0 brush system is built to stop long hair wrapping the roller, its OZMO Turbo dual-spinning mops scrub rather than drag, and they lift up to 9 mm on carpet so it vacuums rugs without soaking them. The OMNI station self-empties, self-cleans and self-dries, the dock holds a 3-litre bag, and it navigates by laser with AI obstacle avoidance.

Two things hold it back, and neither is the hardware. The 25,000 Pa headline matches the roborock flagship and, like it, appears in the title but not the specification table, measured to no standard you can check. And at GBP 468 it is priced with the premium machines while sitting on just 162 ratings, far too few to know how it ages, where the eufy and roborock models above it have thousands. It carries the lowest five-star share on the page at 65 per cent. We do not mark a product down for having few reviews, but at this price the thin evidence is a real reason to prefer a better-proven machine. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.

Questions people ask

Is the DEEBOT T30e Omni good for pet hair?

That is its strongest suit. The ZeroTangle 3.0 brush system is designed to stop long hair wrapping the roller, which is the failure that jams cheaper robots in hairy homes, and the dual-spinning mops scrub hard floors while lifting on carpet.

Why does it rank below cheaper robots?

On evidence and price, not features. It costs GBP 468, in premium territory, but has only 162 ratings, far too few to prove it will still run well in two years, where the eufy and roborock machines above it have thousands. Its five-star share is also the lowest on the page.

How strong is its suction?

The title says 25,000 Pa, matching the roborock flagship, but the specification table does not list suction at all, and these Pascal figures have no standard test behind them. Treat it as marketing rather than a measured advantage.

What does the OMNI station do?

It empties the robot, washes the mop pads and dries them, and holds a 3-litre bag so you deal with dust only occasionally. It also refills and manages the mop water. The robot and station together weigh 14.5 kg.

Does it mop and vacuum together?

Yes. It vacuums and mops on hard floors with dual spinning pads, and lifts the pads up to 9 mm when it detects carpet so it does not wet your rugs.

Does it need a hub?

No. It is controlled through the ECOVACS app with voice control, over Wi-Fi, with no separate hub required.
