Inofia Original Series Small Double Mattress, 26cm

The Inofia Original Series small double sits at number 5 in this guide. It is a hybrid — memory foam over pocket springs — sold here in one footprint, 120 x 190 cm, at £138.69, with a 4.6 rating taken from 2,472 Amazon ratings. It is also the listing in this round-up that never puts a number on its springs: no coil count in the spec sheet, no coil count in the bullets, just "pocket springs" and a hybrid build across 5 layers.

On depth, Inofia's own numbers hold together. The title calls it 10.3 inches and the spec sheet says 26 cm deep, which is the same measurement, so the two agree — worth saying, because that is not true of every mattress in this guide. What does not hold together is the wording: three of the six bullets refer to a king mattress ("king bed mattress", "memory foam king mattresses", "adjusting your King mattress"), copy carried over from a larger size in a 4ft listing. The firmness field is also two answers at once, "Firm, Medium", with nothing to say which sleeper or which size each one applies to. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from a mattress we have slept on.
