“As a long time original SwitchBot lock user, this is a really substantial upgrade. Installation is really easy, it comes with a lot of adapters in the box for different types of lock (key, or knob), in my case I could remove the knob, install the adapter and as the unit sits a little way away from the wall the included base ring covers the gap nicely. It comes with preinstalled adhesive and has stuck to the door extremely well and feels very strong.This one has a metal body which feels premium and well built. It's much faster at both locking and unlocking compared to my previous model.Setup was easy through the app and it automatically calibrated, and using it with the Hub 2 means I can expose it to Apple Home and control the functions and automations through there.The standout feature of this model is the Keypad Vision Pro. I liked the sound of face unlock before purchasing, and in use it surprised me! Both face unlock and palm unlock are really quick - quicker than typing in an unlock code. It feels really futuristic! The fingerprint reader is also fast and reliable, and in the box there was a NFC card to unlock with too. In the app there are a whole bunch of options like temporary and one time use codes which could be useful for Airbnb type places, or to let in dog walkers and cleaners.In everyday use it makes getting into the house effortless, especially when carrying shopping. Face unlock is so natural you almost don't think about it.Overall I'm really pleased with this purchase. It's a huge upgrade over my old smart lock and the extra unlock methods aren't gimmicks, they genuinely make everyday use quicker and easier.”

“The media could not be loaded. This lock makes you feel like your living in the future! I have a few different switchbot products so I was more than confident that it would work on our door.As usual switchbot have thought of everything that is needed for retrofiting to get things to work.After unpacking the lock and adding it to switchbot app it does a great job of pointing you in the right direction with video tutorials and hints really well thought out .The installation took about twenty minutes even with calibration.Now the real gem is key pad after again pairing with the app it's a matter of entering your biometrics,the face and palm registration was instant!the finger print took as long as it does when setting up a new phone so not long.I registered all the family in minutes. No more fumbling for keys you literally walk up to the front door and it works.The key pad has a built in anti theft alarm should it be intefered with and you get sent a message informing you .It comes with a built in rechargeable battery and it states should last up to a year . This has to be one of the most useful smart home products I have ever bought.”
