The HOMCOM E2-0007 takes first place in this guide on the strength of its rating rather than its spec sheet: 4.4 out of 5 from 353 ratings at £107.99. It is a two-piece unit — an upper tool chest and a lower roller cabinet that HOMCOM says you can use separately or together — with 6 smooth-glide drawers, one large bottom cabinet, a drawer lock on the upper chest, padded drawer linings and four wheels. It measures 108cm high, 61.6cm long and 33cm deep, in red and black, and the listing states plainly that assembly is required.
The number to look at here is the load figure. HOMCOM quotes a 60kg maximum load, and that sits between the other limits in this guide: 450kg total on the £449 Scheppach, 150kg total (15kg per drawer) on the DURHAND, and 27kg of "maximum weight" on the US PRO 7-drawer. It is also measured differently again — a single 60kg covering a chest and a cabinet together — so compare it only with another total, never with a per-drawer figure. The second number worth checking is one the description never mentions: the spec table lists "Number of Shelves: 4", while the bullets describe 6 drawers and 1 large bottom cabinet and refer to no shelves at all. That is the same pattern the blue US PRO shows when it claims 7 shelves in a cabinet made only of drawers.

Getting the lockable detachable chest out from inside the unit is an absolute nightmare. The part to remove it, being inside the part you need to remove! Once assembled it is good value for the price, better if you can pick it up on a deal under the £90 mark. Id feel a little cheated had i paid much more. Capacity in drawers is good and they open well on decent runners.”
