The Chilly Nights is the 15 tog option here, one step above the 13.5 tog duvets that dominate this ranking. The listing describes a double duvet in 100 per cent microfibre with a hollowfibre fill, a heavyweight warmth description, machine washability, hypoallergenic properties, a two year guarantee and UK manufacture.
15 tog is the right choice for a genuinely cold bedroom or a draughty house, and the step from 13.5 to 15 is noticeable in weight as well as warmth. At the time of collection it carried 14,548 ratings at 4.6 stars. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.
How those 14,548 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.6 stars.
