Is the Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone 9.5L worth buying?
Yes, for big families and batch cooks. The Ninja Foodi MAX costs £209.99, cooks up to 8 portions across two 4.75L drawers, and 15,008 owners rate it 4.8.
For a family of four, however, the 7.6L Dual Zone does the same job for £45 less.
How much more food does the MAX take?
Each drawer takes up to 1.4kg of fries or a 2kg chicken, so the pair handles 2.8kg of fries. That is 40% more than the 2kg of the 7.6L model.
What is it like to live with?
You get 6 functions, from Max Crisp to Dehydrate, a range of 40°C to 240°C, and dishwasher-safe drawers and crisper plates. It comes with a UK plug and a recipe guide.
At about 8.9kg it is a fryer that stays on the worktop rather than going back in a cupboard.
Where does the Ninja Foodi MAX fall short?
It is the most expensive fryer here. In addition, the spec table gives its size as 10.6 x 16.3 x 12.8 centimetres, which is clearly inches, so measure your space from the photos or the box rather than that field.
How does it compare with the Ninja Dual Zone 7.6L and the Hisense 11L?
The Ninja Dual Zone 7.6L costs £45 less and takes 2kg of fries. Meanwhile, the Hisense 11L Dual Zone costs £109.00 and has bigger drawers of 6.5L and 4.5L, but only 107 ratings so far.
