Rank #8 in Best Kitchen Scales 2026: 10 Digital Food Scales Ranked
Diyife 15kg/1g Rechargeable Digital Kitchen Scales, USB-C
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
This is the second Diyife in the ranking and the one with the wider range: the listing describes a 15 kilogram capacity at 1 gram resolution, rechargeable over USB-C rather than running on replaceable cells.
Fifteen kilograms covers bulk batches that a 5 kilogram scale cannot, and 1 gram resolution keeps it useful for recipe work at the same time. Recharging over USB-C removes the usual mid-recipe dead-battery problem. At the time of collection it carried 282 ratings at 4.7 stars, one of the best averages here on the smallest sample. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.
How those 282 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.7 stars.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“These are excellent scales. My old ones, from a leading brand though admittedly about fourteen years old, were getting distinctly tired and in any case only measured to 2g increments. These seem extremely accurate, both because they have 1g increments and having checked them against other devices. Not only that, but I really appreciate the USB-C charging; I loathe messing about with 2032 cells - which are never to hand when I'm half way through preparing a meal and the battery fails - and it also presumably makes this device more environmentally friendly.I also really like the design. The surface is extremely easy to keep clean - those apparent rebates around the buttons are actually plastic spacers, so the whole things is basically one smooth, easy-to-wipe surface. No gaps or cracks for bits of food - or just dust - to collect in. The display is large and clear, and is very easy to read indeed. Additionally, the scales ae just 15mm deep: very neat and slimline indeed. At the current price of £12.99 I think these are an absolute bargain - a great buy. Recommended.”
Verified purchase“Very pleased considering it was under £15. Looks more expensive. Works very well and am pleased with the style. Easy to read and multiple choices.”
