Tower Cerastone T81276 Forged 5-Piece Pan Set
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Tower Cerastone T81276 is a five-piece forged aluminium pan set in graphite, priced at £78.89 and sitting at number three in our guide. It carries a 4.4 out of five rating from 3,960 customer ratings, and the listing currently shows it at number 2 in Pan Sets. Behind that rating the breakdown runs 73 at five stars against 6 at one star.
This is the set in this guide where the headline number survives a look at the contents list. The five pieces are five pans: 18cm, 20cm and 22cm saucepans, plus 20cm and 28cm frying pans. The three glass lids that come with the saucepans are not counted in the five, and neither frying pan has one — even though the spec table answers With Lid: Yes. The same table files Number of Items as 1 against Number of Pieces: 5, and the claim that the Cerastone coating is "5x stronger than other non-stick coatings" names no coating it is being compared with. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from any testing we have carried out.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“Fabulous pan set! I wanted non stick without Teflon or nonstick coatings that come off with time. These are just the ticket. Great value for money. Good strong thick pans. Not professional level thick bottom, but for home cooking they are good and feel quality. The cerastone is realy good non stick wise. I ordered the full set and gridle pan and they have been lovely to cook with. I have an induction hob and have found using a lower heat than normal, 5 instead of 6 with my old pans,as they conduct the heat better. If you want something crispy, just add in a small amount of oil.”
Verified purchase“Bought these, as needed a replacement, for a own brand shop set I had purchased earlier this year. These are nice and solid, and I love that the heat is evenly distributed. Normally your pan, when boiling, will just have the bubbles coming up, by the side (Gas ring). These don't, the heat is evenly distributed, and you can see the bubbles coming up, all over the pan, ensuring even cooking. They really are non stick, and are so easy to clean. Best cooking pans we've had and would strongly recommend.”
