The ByteTecpeak Z01 is a folding mobility scooter aimed at travel and storage: 22.5 kg on the spec sheet, a quoted 20 km range from a removable 12Ah lithium battery, and a 180W motor. It is listed at £799.99 with a 4.6-star average, and it takes fourth place in our guide to the best mobility scooters.
The reason it does not sit higher is what happens when you add the listing's own numbers together. The star breakdown on the page shows 86 five-star ratings, 4 four-star, 3 three-star and 7 one-star — that is 100 ratings, not the 32 the page states. Run those same bars through the maths and you get 4.62, which rounds to the 4.6 on display. So the average and the bars agree with each other; the "32 ratings" figure agrees with neither. Two other numbers inside the same listing disagree as well. The bullet points say the scooter weighs 20.5 kg without the battery and that the battery adds about 2 kg — 22.5 kg together, which does match the 22.5 kg item weight. But the material fields list "Iron" as the material type and "Aluminum" as the frame material, and both cannot be right. The charge lasted all day even with the ups and downs in the park and the fact I'm at the upper weight limit. It didn't seem to struggle. Always had the power to get me about and when needed closed up so it could be moved like a suitcase. Very sturdy scooter as well as there were a lot of cobblestone and rough areas in the park.
