The GYM MASTER Open Olympic Trap Style Rickshaw Bar Deadlift is an open-back trap bar — GYM MASTER calls it a rickshaw — with a 30 mm grip diameter and a matte black powder-coated finish. It finished 10th in our guide to the best trap bars. At £79.99 it is not the cheapest entry, but it carries the biggest load number in the guide: 300 kg, next to the 400 lb on the £65.23 bar and the 500 lb on the 20 kg Titan. It is rated 4.5 out of 5 from 17 ratings.
The same bullet that promises 300 kg takes part of it back. The listing qualifies the figure with "when lowered carefully", states that this rickshaw must not be dropped, and warns that a dropped bar buckles and that the resulting damage will be obvious. It also says the bar is not suitable for commercial use, so 300 kg is a home-gym ceiling on a bar you are told never to release.
