Verified purchase“This one is the one to get if you're looking for a balance of great price with a standard hand width size similar to the fancy professional trap bars like Rouge Fitness. First off, none of the trap bars on Amazon will be standard 25in center to center handle bar measurement unless you want to shell out way more money and most of the trap bars don't give you an accurate measurement unless you buy it first to measure. So I did the leg work for you.This one is the closest to standard as you're going to get for under $100. It's 26in center to center of the handle bar with a nice distance for the knees at 23in front to back (other ones I looked at are 21in) those few extra inches are nice to have without comprising hand width. The handle bar is also 3" high. Some other ones are 6". I prefer 3" since that's what the trap bar at the gym was and allows us shorter people to get a little more stretch.Having bought a few of these including the popular CAP one, but that was a 29in center to center which was WAY too wide for my short 5'2" height. Most of the ones on Amazon will be 28-29in. Except this one. So if you're shorter like me this is the trap bar to get. The arm width feels very natural and closest to what I'm use to at the gym.Assembly is good as they give you the little tools to screw everything in. The nuts/washer come pre-assembled to the long screw which was a plus not to have to do.This bar is perfect if you're smaller like me and somewhere between a beginner or intermediate lifter. I do under 200lb total weight and the trap bars holds up very well. This one was under $100 when I bought it and perfect for my small home gym needs.Another plus, the trap bar itself weights 20lb which makes it very easy to lift into a vertical bar holder and take out. Most professional bars are 50-60lb which is much more challenging to do. This one works really well for my small gym.”
