Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The SONGMICS HOME gaming chair is the £89.99 model at number 10 in this guide. It is an ink-black chair in cotton-linen fabric rather than the PU faux leather most racing-style chairs use, with a headrest, a footrest, a 90°–135° recline, 360° swivel and adjustable height. The listing rates it 4.3 out of 5 from 78 ratings and places it 7th in Amazon's Video Game Chairs ranking.
The number worth pausing on is the weight figure. The specification table gives 'Maximum Weight Recommendation: 1136 Kilograms'. That is not a weight for a person: it repeats, digit for digit, the fifth bullet's base test — 'a heavy-duty base that passed a 1,136 kg static pressure test for one minute without breaking'. Elsewhere in this guide the genuine capacity claims run from 120 kg to 200 kg, and none of the buyer reviews reproduced here mentions the capacity figure at all. The listing also disagrees with itself on the model: the product title carries the code OBG072BH04, the specification table says OBG072BH03. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing for this chair — its bullets, its specification table and its buyer reviews — not from any test of our own.

Questions people ask
What weight can this SONGMICS HOME gaming chair hold?
The specification field says 'Maximum Weight Recommendation: 1136 Kilograms'. The only 1,136 kg figure anywhere else in the listing is the base test in the fifth bullet — 1,136 kg held for one minute without breaking — which the bullet describes as a test of the base, not a weight for a sitter. No capacity in kilograms for a person is given anywhere else on the page.
Where does the 1,136 kg figure come from?
It matches the static pressure test the SONGMICS HOME listing quotes for its own base: 'a heavy-duty base that passed a 1,136 kg static pressure test for one minute without breaking'. Other chairs in this guide state sitting capacities of 120 kg to 200 kg.
What is the model number of this chair?
The specification table lists the model number as OBG072BH03, while the product title carries the code OBG072BH04. Both describe the same £89.99 Ink Black cotton-linen chair.
Does it recline and swivel?
Yes, as listed: the SONGMICS HOME chair reclines from 90° to 135°, swivels 360°, has adjustable height and glides.
Does it arrive assembled?
No. The listing marks assembly as required and the included components field reads 'CHAIR'. One buyer says the job would have taken a while without their own screwdriver and advises using your own rather than the one provided.
What do buyers say about it?
The listing shows 4.3 out of 5 from 78 ratings. Buyers mention the cushioning, the useful leg rest and instructions that were easy to follow, with one reporting a build time of about 20 minutes.
