Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The KIDUKU wooden playpen is the eight-panel, foldable model that closes our guide at number 10. It is listed at £139.79, carries 4.2 out of 5 from 1,326 ratings, and the listing leads with the word 'XXL'. The number that decides whether it fits your room is smaller than that word suggests: the specification table gives its assembled size as 90 x 90 cm. That is 0.81 m² of floor, roughly £173 for every square metre your baby actually gets to crawl on.
Two more figures from the same listing are worth reading side by side. Folded, it is given as 90.0 x 70.0 x 20.5 cm — a folded length of 90 cm, identical to its assembled length, so 'compact' here means thin rather than short. And the maximum weight recommendation is 16 kg, which is the same figure the listing gives for the playpen's own weight. The panels are stated at approximately 70 cm high, with a door about 50 cm wide and 65 cm high, and the bullets say the frame is untreated solid pine wood while the specification table lists the material type as Plastic, Wood. Everything on this page comes from the Amazon listing — its specification table, its bullet points and its customer reviews — and not from any testing of our own.
