Is the KNKA 16L worth buying?
Yes, it is the best value in our ranking. The KNKA 16L costs £99.99, extracts up to 16 litres a day, and 2,025 buyers rate it 4.4.
It suits a medium house or a damp room where a 12L unit would struggle.
What does 16 litres a day really mean?
KNKA measures it at 35°C and 90% humidity, which is far warmer than a British home in winter. Also, the spec table lists 12 litres a day, so expect real-world output somewhere between the two.
What is it like to live with?
It has a 3L tank with a window, a full-tank alarm, a humidity indicator light, a child lock and a sleep mode that turns off all the lights. Let it stand upright for 24 hours before the first use, as KNKA advises.
Where does the KNKA 16L fall short?
KNKA does not give a noise figure, and the 16L rating comes from tough test conditions. It is also 10.1kg, heavier than the Pro Breeze 12L.
