It draws 280W, about 7p an hour at 25p per kWh, and runs below 41dB in sleep mode. At 12.5kg, though, it is one of the heaviest units here.

However, its 1.6L tank is the smallest in this list, and at the same £99.99 the KNKA extracts 16L with a 3L tank. Its price has also risen from £85.48.

The AEOCKY 25L has the highest extraction in this list, 25 litres a day, in a compact 43cm body. It uses a brushless DC inverter motor and is rated for spaces of up to 50 square metres, for £119.97.

The catch is the 1.9L tank. At the full 25 litres a day it fills in under 2 hours, so in practice you need the continuous drain. It also draws 360W, about 9p an hour.
