Best Electric Recliner Sofas: 10 Ranked by the Numbers

By · Updated

Most electric recliner sofas are sold on the angle of the backrest and the number of cup holders. The measurement fields usually tell a different story. The 195 cm-wide Orlando is listed with a minimum door width of 75 inches in the 3+2 set and 97.5 cm in the three-seater. The MNS leather set quotes 255 cm — its own overall width — as the door width, and the MNS fabric 3+2 gives a reclined length of 436 cm for a sofa 200 cm wide. Meanwhile, the FLEXISPOT oversized recliner is listed at 12.9 kg for a chair measuring 137 x 110 x 101 cm, against 73.1 kg for the MCombo and 96.5 kg for the LIFTSHA.

We ranked ten of the best electric recliner sofas on Amazon on the figures the listings actually publish — price, seat dimensions, reclined length, item weight and the star distribution behind each average — and flagged every point where those figures contradict the sales copy.

MCombo Zero Gravity 2-Seater Recliner with Massage and Heat

electric recliner sofas
£859.90 4.5 191 reviews

First because 73.1 kg, a 155° zero gravity stop, a 189 cm reclined length and 191 reviews at 4.5 are all published and all consistent.

Pros

  • 73.1 kg with a reinforced steel reclining mechanism, the heaviest build in the top three
  • 155° zero gravity recline with a 189 cm reclined length from a 142 cm footprint
  • Lumbar heat plus 6 vibration nodes, with adjustable modes, intensity and timer
  • 191 reviews at 4.5, with 77 of 100 ratings at five stars
  • Two-year limited warranty covering mechanism, electrics, upholstery and frame

Cons

  • Recommended height is 5'1" to 5'9", so taller buyers are outside the design range
  • Two different size sets published: 93D x 142W x 111H cm and 91.4 x 142 x 108 cm
  • 6 of its 100 ratings are one star
  • A two-seater at £859.90, roughly the same money as a five-seat Orlando set

“Amazing upgrade for our trailer. We bought this to replace a standard loveseat w console that came with our three year old trailer. What a difference! Soft beige plush fabric, plus electric heat, massage and footrest. It's beyond comfy and fit perfectly in the space we had our original loveseat. Highly recommend.”

Of the ten electric recliner sofas here, this is the one whose numbers hold together. A 189 cm reclined length is plausible for a 142 cm frame, the 73.1 kg weight fits the reinforced steel mechanism described, and its two published size sets differ by under 3 cm in depth and height.

It is also the only zero gravity recliner sofa on this list, stopping at 155° so your legs sit level with your heart. Six vibration nodes and a heated lumbar panel are adjustable by mode, intensity and timer. USB ports, cupholders and side pockets are included, and the FSC-certified wood frame is named rather than implied.

That said, the recommended height is 5'1" to 5'9". Taller buyers fall outside the design range, and the 114 cm seat interior width is shared across two cushions. Anyone who needs five seats in one purchase should look at the 3+2 sets instead. This is a two-seater at £859.90, and 6 of its 100 ratings are one star.

2

Orlando Electric Recliner 3+2 Seater with Cupholders and LED

Black Orlando three-plus-two electric recliner sofa set with LED lights
£859.00 4.6 137 reviews

Second because five seats, cupholders and wireless charging land at £859 with 137 reviews at 4.6 — but the door width field says 75 inches.

Pros

  • Five seats across two pieces and five seat cushions for £859
  • Cupholders, USB charging ports and wireless charging built in
  • 210 cm reclined length published rather than left blank
  • 137 reviews at 4.6, with 79 of 100 ratings at five stars
  • Assembly needs no additional parts

Cons

  • Minimum required door width listed as 75 inches, close to the sofa's own 195 cm width
  • Delivery excluded from a long list of postcodes, with a £30 assembly charge
  • 100 kg given as the weight of the whole set and of the single three-seater
  • 3 of its 100 ratings are one star

“I was a bit sceptical about buying a sofa online and from Amazon of all places. This has exceeded my expectations. Delivery was prompt and faultless, and assembly was offered, but I'm quite handy, so I declined it as it takes around 10 minutes for one person - beware there is a lot of packaging so a trip to the tip will be needed. As for the Sofas themselves, I suffer from a bad back, so the firmness and sitting height are perfect for me. If you want soft, squishy and low, then this is not a sofa for you. The recliners all work perfectly, and it doesn't take long to find a perfect position. The USB's all work, although lacking a USB C option. Also someone mentioned the LED strip lights are really bright and distracting - I covered with a discrete bit of tape, and now they are just in the background. The sofa's do have a bit of car seat look about them, also it is tech leather - neither bothers me as I don't want to pay 2k for an alternative. There was a nice thank you letter sent by the seller a few days later- nice touch.”

“Really pleased with this sofa, assembly was really easy its comfortable and reclines nicely and the price is a knockout super value for money it looks much more expensive than it was and perfectly compliments my room, love the led lights and the USB charging points are really handy, haven't used the wireless charging pad as my phone doesn't support it but it does work if I had to mention any niggle it would be the drop down bit in the middle is not well supported but I can live with that and is insignificant considering the cost I just lay a cushion under it problem solved. If you're considering this sofa and like the look of it then I would have no problem at all recommending it.”

Check Price on Amazon More about the Orlando Electric Recliner 3+2 Seater with Cupholders and LED

The Orlando 3+2 is £859 for five seats, two pieces and five seat cushions, with 137 reviews at 4.6. Its 210 cm reclined length is the second-longest on this page. Crucially, the minimum required door width is given as 75 inches — about 190 cm — against an overall width of 195 cm, so that figure describes the sofa rather than your hallway.

In practice, this electric reclining sofa 3+2 seater arrives needing no additional parts, with cupholders and USB charging ports on both pieces and wireless charging on the console. LED lighting runs along the base. Delivery is excluded from a long list of postcodes, a flat charge capped at £20 applies in designated areas, and driver assembly costs £30.

The catch is that 100 kg is also the weight given for the three-seater sold on its own. If you need a doorway number you can trust before ordering, this listing does not give you one. Measure your own route first, and 3 of its 100 ratings are one star.

3

MNS Leather 3+2 Recliner Sofa with Cupholders, Black

Black MNS bonded leather three-plus-two recliner sofa with cupholders
£579.00 4.4 199 reviews

Third on price — £579 for five seats — but the most-reviewed set of electric recliner sofas here, at 199 ratings, with a spec sheet that contradicts itself.

Pros

  • £579 for a 3+2 with five seat cushions
  • 199 reviews at 4.4, the largest review count on this list
  • Cupholders fitted to the three-seater
  • Bonded leather mix disclosed clearly in the listing itself
  • Five seats across two pieces

Cons

  • Minimum required door width of 255 cm is the sofa's own overall width
  • Reclined length of 85 cm is shorter than the sofa is wide
  • The two-seater has no cupholders
  • Seat height of 80 cm is well above the 45–51 cm of the other sofas here

Check Price on Amazon More about the MNS Leather 3+2 Recliner Sofa with Cupholders, Black

This is the most-reviewed set of electric recliner sofas on this list: 199 ratings at 4.4. The surrounding figures are the problem. The minimum required door width is 255 cm, exactly the sofa's own width. The reclined length is given as 85 cm, shorter than the sofa is wide.

As a recliner sofa with cupholders, it does the job on the three-seater, though the two-seater has none. The listing states plainly that the upholstery is bonded leather, a mix of real leather and PU, and not genuine leather. Flat charges and assembly are payable to the driver if you want either.

Even so, £579 for five seats is among the cheapest ways into a 3+2 here. Worth noting: the 80 cm seat height is far above the 45–51 cm of every other sofa on this page, which changes how you sit. Try one before you buy if you can.

4

Madrid Leather Electric Recliner 3+2 with USB and LED

Grey Madrid leather electric recliner sofa set with cupholders and USB ports
£679.00 4.6 72 reviews

Fourth because the Leggett & Platt mechanism is named and 150 kg is published with 72 reviews at 4.6 — but the bullets describe black leather on a grey sofa.

Pros

  • Leggett & Platt reclining mechanism named in the copy
  • 150 kg item weight across a two-piece set
  • Cupholders, USB charging ports and ambient LED lighting included
  • 4.6 from 72 reviews, with 81 of 100 ratings at five stars
  • Seat, two-seater and corner measurements all published

Cons

  • Bullets say 'premium black leather upholstery' while the sofa is sold as grey
  • Item dimensions of 2.4 x 0.9 x 0.9 m do not match the 190 cm and 165 cm pieces listed
  • 72 reviews is the second-smallest sample on this page
  • £30 assembly charge if you do not build it yourself

£679 buys a two-piece 3+2 with 150 kg on the spec sheet and 72 reviews at 4.6. The mechanism is named — Leggett & Platt — which is more than most listings here offer.

As a leather electric recliner sofa, it carries cupholders, USB charging ports and ambient LED lighting, and assembly instructions are included, with a £30 charge if you would rather the driver built it. The three-seater, two-seater and corner measurements all appear in the bullets, so you can plan a room around them before ordering.

However, the first bullet describes 'premium black leather upholstery' on a sofa sold as grey, and the item dimensions of 2.4 x 0.9 x 0.9 m do not match the 190 cm and 165 cm pieces named in the bullets. At the same time, 72 reviews is the second-smallest sample here. Check the colour you are actually ordering.

LIFTSHA 2-Seater Power Recliner Loveseat with Console

Brown LIFTSHA two-seater power recliner loveseat with console and LED lights
£799.99 4.6 55 reviews

Fifth because it is the only two-seater here that stops 1 inch from the wall, at 96.5 kg — though £799.99 buys two seats where £749 buys five.

Pros

  • 1 inch wall clearance, the true wall-hugger figure for a tight room
  • 96.5 kg with a flip-down console, Bluetooth speakers, power outlets and a drawer
  • 150° maximum recline with independent backrest and footrest controls
  • 170 cm wide by 76 cm deep, a compact footprint for two seats
  • Tool-free assembly with instructions included

Cons

  • £799.99 for two seats, more than the £749 Berlin five-seater
  • Only 55 reviews, a small sample
  • Two of the five bullets are word-for-word identical
  • 4 of its 100 ratings are one star

“Delivered over two days as stated. Easy to put together as instructions are ok once you find them. Assembly took a couple of hours including unboxing all the sections. I had a friend assemble the settee as I have had a shoulder replacement, it would have been quicker with two people.Once the center section was found and the seat sections are bolted to it the other parts attach on rails. The wiring is easy with instructions as all the plugs are different and colour coded. The settee needs 4 sockets. The settee is very comfortable the recline works very well and is very smooth in operation, the massage is very good on auto and with the heat, what more could you ask for.The center section that folds down provides a flat surface with USB a and c charge outlets, there are also two mains sockets. The controls for recline are easy to use although the button for the LED lights is easy to mistake for the recline down a simple press and hold turns the leds off. We have not used the USB charge socket next to the recline buttons yet but always handy to have there is a USB a and c socket that light up blue.I'm very pleased with the settee and I think paying a little more was worth it for how comfortable it is and how smooth it operates, everyone who has sat on it comments on how comfortable it is.”

96.5 kg, 170 cm wide and 76 cm deep, with 55 reviews at 4.6. The number that matters is the wall clearance: 1 inch. As a power recliner sofa for a small room or an RV, that is the figure that decides whether it fits.

Reclining is push-button, with the backrest and footrest moving independently to a maximum of 150°. The flip-down console adds Bluetooth speakers, power outlets, a tabletop, two cupholders and a drawer. Assembly is tool-free, and the model number 7808 is published.

The catch is price per seat. At £799.99 this costs more than the £749 Berlin 3+2, which seats five. Meanwhile, two of the five bullets are word-for-word identical, and 4 of its 100 ratings are one star. Buy it for the wall clearance, not for value.

Orlando Electric Recliner 3 Seater with Cupholders

Black Orlando three-seater electric recliner sofa with wireless charging
£519.00 4.6 137 reviews

Sixth because £519 buys the same 195 cm three-seater that forms part of the £859 set, with the same 137 reviews — and a door width of 97.5 cm.

Pros

  • £519 for the same 195 cm three-seater that forms part of the £859 set
  • Cupholders, USB ports and wireless charging included
  • 97.5 cm minimum door width, a figure you can measure a doorway against
  • 137 reviews at 4.6, the joint-largest count of any set here
  • 190 cm reclined length published

Cons

  • Item weight given as 100 kg, identical to the whole 3+2 set
  • Spec sheet lists a mattress size and 'Number of Pieces: 2' for one sofa
  • Same postcode delivery exclusions and £30 assembly charge as the set
  • Door width figure disagrees with the 3+2 version of the same 195 cm sofa

£519 for the same 195 cm, 100 kg three-seater that forms half of the £859 set, with the same 137 reviews at 4.6. By contrast with the 3+2, this one publishes a minimum door width of 97.5 cm — a figure you can put a tape measure against.

It is a recliner sofa with USB charging ports, cupholders and wireless charging, and the reclined length is published at 190 cm. Assembly needs no additional parts, and the postcode delivery exclusions match the set.

The spec sheet, however, carries 'Included Mattress Size: Full' and 'Number of Pieces: 2' on a single three-seater, and the item weight is given as 100 kg — identical to the whole 3+2 set. Berlin Fabric Electric Recliner 3+2 with Cupholders

Grey Berlin fabric electric recliner sofa set with cupholders and LED lights
£749.00 4.6 31 reviews

Seventh because four powered seats and five cushions for £749 is the best money per seat here, but the spec sheet lists 200 kg and no door width at all.

Pros

  • Four powered seats in a £749 set, £110 below the Orlando
  • Five seat cushions across a 200 cm frame
  • Grey microfibre upholstery rather than bonded leather
  • 4.6, with 76 of 100 ratings at five stars
  • Cupholders, LED lighting and USB charging ports included

Cons

  • Only 31 reviews, the smallest sample of any 3+2 here
  • No minimum door width published for a 200 cm sofa

Four powered seats, five cushions and a 200 cm frame for £749 — £110 under any other set of electric recliner sofas here. That is the best money per seat on the page.

The upholstery is grey microfibre rather than bonded leather, which matters if you want something soft and wipeable without the leather-marketing language. Cupholders, LED lights and USB charging ports are all present, and the same postcode exclusions and capped flat charges apply as elsewhere.

That said, no minimum door width is published at all on a 200 cm sofa. The spec sheet also lists 'Number of Pieces: 1' next to 'Number of Items: 2'. At 200 kg it is one of the heaviest sets here, 31 reviews is a thin sample, and 5 of its 100 ratings are one star.

£779.00 4.6 31 reviews

Eighth because £30 more than the Berlin 3+2 buys a 270 cm corner with a 200 cm reclined length — but it publishes no door width.

Pros

  • 270 cm corner configuration, available facing left or right
  • 200 cm reclined length published
  • Only £30 more than the straight Berlin 3+2
  • Cupholders and USB charging ports across four seats
  • 4.6 from 31 reviews, with 76 of 100 ratings at five stars

£779 is £30 more than the straight Berlin 3+2 and buys a 270 cm corner that can face left or right. The reclined length is published at 200 cm, which is a real number to work with.

As an electric corner recliner sofa, it keeps the cupholders, USB charging ports and microfibre upholstery of the 3+2, but drops from five seat cushions to four. Delivery terms and the £20 flat-charge cap are identical.

However, a 270 cm sofa comes with no minimum door width figure at all, and that is the single most useful number when you buy a corner online. The weight is the same 200 kg, the review count is the same 31, and 5 of its 100 ratings are one star.

MNS Fabric 3+2 Recliner Sofa in Grey Chenille

Light grey MNS chenille fabric three-plus-two recliner sofa with cupholders
£579.00 4.2 90 reviews

Ninth because £579 buys five seats, but the 4.2 average is the lowest here and the 436 cm reclined length is impossible for a 200 cm sofa.

Pros

  • £579 for a 3+2 in chenille fabric, matching the MNS leather on price
  • Reclines at both ends of the set
  • Five seat cushions across five supplied pieces
  • Cupholders fitted to the three-seater
  • 170 kg item weight, below the 200 kg Berlin sets

Cons

  • Reclined length of 436 cm for a sofa 200 cm wide
  • 4.2 from 90 reviews, the lowest average here
  • 8 of 100 ratings are one star and another 6 are two stars

£579 for five seats matches the MNS leather on price and undercuts every other 3+2 here. The catch is the 4.2 average, the lowest on the list, from 90 reviews. Eight of those 100 ratings are one star.

The fabric is light grey chenille, both ends recline, and cupholders appear on the three-seater only. Five pieces are supplied, and the listing states that a £20 flat charge and a £30 assembly fee are payable to the driver where they apply.

In theory, the set reclines to 436 cm. In practice, that is more than twice the sofa's own 200 cm width, so the figure cannot be right. Meanwhile, another 6 of 100 ratings are two stars — the weakest distribution on this page. Read the reviews before the spec sheet.

FLEXISPOT Oversized Zero Wall Power Recliner Chair

FLEXISPOT oversized chenille power recliner chair with USB and Type-C ports
£999.99 4.6 62 reviews

Tenth because it is the priciest at £999.99 and the only listing claiming 12.9 kg for a chair measuring 137 x 110 x 101 cm.

Pros

  • 54 inch seat width, the widest single seat on this page
  • 118° to 150° recline on a zero-wall mechanism
  • USB and Type-C charging ports built into the arm
  • Anti-pinch design for homes with children or pets
  • 4.6 from 62 reviews, with 83 of 100 ratings at five stars

Cons

  • £999.99 for a single chair, more than the five-seat Orlando 3+2
  • Item weight listed as 12.9 kg for a 137 x 110 x 101 cm powered recliner
  • 8 of its 100 ratings sit at two stars or below

“My chair arrived before the expected delivery date they gave me. The expected date was 7/26-7/29. I got the first box on the 24th and the other 2 boxes arrived the next day, thank goodness because I was so excited to sit in this chair! It took only a few mins to snap together and was very easy! The chair is beautiful! Very pricey but well worth the money. My husband didn't want to spend this much on a chair but you get what you pay for. One thing about me is I have a habit of buying furniture. I've purchased 4 different chairs/ recliners in the last 2 years trying to find the perfect one, this is my 5th. So now I have a garage full of chairs from rooms to go.. chairs that I actually went in person to test out. This is the first chair I bought online without seeing in person first. It's the only one I absolutely loved the moment i sat in it. It's very quiet when using the power recline buttons and it's charger port is comes in handy. This chair is extra wide, which I love because I always have a big cozy blanket and my pillow when I'm sitting in it. Plenty of room for my dog to lay with me. It's durable and sturdy, yet soft and cloud like. The material is super soft and cozy. I can't say enough good things about this chair, just buy it. You'll love it.”

“We were looking for something wide and comfortable. We didn't want the standard oversized overstuffed, looking recliner. We were disappointed in many of the color selections that were out there. This arrived in three boxes, and I had it set up in less than 10 minutes. This chair design is well thought out and is very comfortable. It's wide enough that my wife and I can easily sit in it and watch TV together. Another plus is the fabric and the color. It's not your normal run of the mill stuff and looks fantastic. While it's relatively lightweight, it's made quite well with firm padding that should last a long time. While this isn't exactly the cheapest chair, I feel the build quality warrants the price. I like the USBC charger built-in to the chair and love the silent operation. I feel this is a great product for the money. Check Price on Amazon More about the FLEXISPOT Oversized Zero Wall Power Recliner Chair

£999.99 is the highest price on this page, and the item weight is listed as 12.9 kg for a chair measuring 137 x 110 x 101 cm. For comparison, the MCombo is 73.1 kg, the LIFTSHA 96.5 kg and the Berlin sets 200 kg. A 12.9 kg figure does not describe a powered recliner of that size.

The seat is 54 inches wide, the widest single seat here. The zero-wall mechanism lets it sit closer to the wall, recline runs from 118° to 150°, and USB and Type-C ports are built in. An anti-pinch design is included for homes with children or pets.

That said, this is one chair, not a set, and it costs more than the Orlando 3+2 at £859. Unlike the other electric recliner sofas here, it is a single seat that arrives in three boxes. Eight of its 100 ratings sit at two stars or below, and 62 reviews is a small base for a four-figure purchase.

Final Verdict

Buying electric recliner sofas without checking the door width is how returns start. For most homes, the Berlin 3+2 at £749 and the Orlando 3+2 at £859 are the sensible picks: both seat five, both are 195–200 cm wide, and both cost less per seat than any two-seater here. If you want the lowest entry price, the Orlando three-seater at £519 carries the same 137 reviews at 4.6 as the full set. If space is the constraint, the LIFTSHA wall hugger needs 1 inch of clearance, and the MCombo zero gravity recliner sofa stops at 142 cm wide and 73.1 kg. Either way, read the 'minimum required door width' line twice before you order, and measure the route to your living room first.

Best Rise and Recline Chairs 2026: 10 Ranked, and Two Share 828 Ratings

Two of the rise and recline chairs below carry 828 ratings, a 4.4 average, an identical star breakdown and 59th place in Reclining Chairs — yet one sells for £679.99 and the other for £835.90. The only difference in the product name is the word 'Oversized' on the dearer one: £155.91 for a label. Meanwhile, every Elite Care chair here states that 'the listed price is VAT exempt' and asks the buyer to send the user's name and medical condition, so the £639.99–£699.99 headline does not hold for everyone. Crucially, a £725.90 MCombo triple-motor model still lists its catalogue type as 'Large Dual Motor Power Lift Recliner Chair', contradicting its own title. We ranked ten of the best rise and recline chairs on Amazon on three things the data can actually show: how many buyers left a rating, how the stars are distributed beneath the average, and whether the specification on the page agrees with the price beside it. Riser recliner chairs with thick rating counts and consistent breakdowns came first. A 4.5 average from 344 buyers is worth more than a 4.4 from 36, and a listing that contradicts itself drops down the order.

Best Electric Wheelchair 2026: 10 Ranked, and Two Are the Same Chair

ByteTecpeak accounts for five of the eleven listings we collected, and two of them are the same electric wheelchair. The black and the blue 'Lightweight Electric Wheelchair for Adults' both cost £529.99, both weigh 20.5 kg, both run a 12ah/24V battery with 500W of combined motor power, and both show 4.2 stars from 60 reviews. The range claims do not track the batteries behind them either: the D14 quotes 20 km from a 12Ah pack, while the D04 quotes the same 20 km from a 10Ah pack. Meanwhile the dearest model on the page, at £1,899, claims no more than the £669.99 one — 400W against 500W, roughly 18 miles against 30 km, and a 300 lb limit against 150 kg. We ranked ten of the best electric wheelchair options on Amazon, using four things we could check in the listings: claimed motor wattage, battery capacity set against the quoted range, seat size and user weight limit, and the shape of the rating breakdown rather than the headline average.

Best Electric Cool Box 2026: 10 Ranked, and Why the Litre Count Misleads

An electric cool box is sold on one number, and it is the least reliable figure in the listing. The TZS 25-litre model calls itself a '32-litre gross capacity (25L net)' in its own bullet point. The TZS with wheels is a 40L box in the title and a 45L box in the bullet and the specification. The Igloo IE27 is 26 litres in the title, 27 litres in the bullet and on the spec sheet. Only the Amazon Basics box publishes both measurements without contradicting itself: 24L total, 22L net. So count on two to five of the litres you are paying for being the outside of the box rather than the space you can fill. We ranked ten of the best electric cool boxes on Amazon on things we could actually check: the listed price, the number of ratings behind each score, and the places where a specification disagrees with its own marketing copy. Thermoelectric and compressor designs sit in the same list, and they are not interchangeable. One cools to a fixed number of degrees below the air around it; the other holds a temperature you choose.
