The Jacgood diesel heater sits at number three in this guide. It is a 12V air heater for campervans, trucks, buses and boats at £69.69, rated 4.3 out of 5 from 196 Amazon ratings, and it is the cleanest example of the problem this guide keeps returning to: on a diesel heater listing, the kW figure is the number least worth trusting. The title calls it "5KW-8KW". The first bullet does not hedge at all and states "Heater power: 8KW". One product page, two answers, and nothing else in the listing settles which of them you get.
The fuel figures do not settle it either. The same bullet gives fuel consumption as 0.1-0.64 L/hour — a 6.4x spread from one end of a single heater's range to the other. The spec table then lists the heating method as "Radiant" and the heating element as "Radiant", which describes a panel heater rather than a diesel unit with a blower, and files the product under bedroom, home office and living room while the bullets sell it for truck cabs and engineering vehicles. The 4.3 average is solid, but it is built from 196 ratings in which 8 are one-star. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing. We have not tested this heater.
