Verified purchase“Having read other customers' reviews, I opted for the king-size blanket for my double bed. Right decision! It fits perfectly over the area between the pillows and the foot of the bed, so that no heating elements are beneath the pillows but the whole of the sleeping area is covered. It is true, as other customers have mentioned, that some of the ties are short. I had to add an extension to the vertical tie, but the horizontals were fine. I have quite a thick mattress. I've used the blanket the last two nights, as per instructions, warm up for an hour on setting 3, then reduce to 1. I switch it off altogether when I get in bed, and just drift off in a nice, warm bed. The best two nights' sleep I've had in a while, and I don't wake up cold in the night. The blanket is nice and fleecy beneath my valance sheet, I can't feel the heating elements. As I chose king-size, the control connection doesn't sit on top of my double bed and can't cause any discomfort. So far I'm very happy with the blanket for the price I paid.”
