Verified purchase“Not quite the torque it advertised as double checked with calibrated wrench. In saying that it's perfect for what I need as it jacks car up and removes the lugs as required. I need 150 ft/lbs on lugs and its not quite there (advertises 158/215Nm) but thats fine as I'd rather finish off with calibrated wrench. Verified purchase“A very good solid piece of kit. I never had an impact driver before so difficult to compare with others, but for the money I would say this is very good item. I don't know why I have done without one for so long, the first job was dismantling a 50 year old rotavator, a machine that had a myriad of stubborn nuts and bolts, this great tool saved me hours! Fits the hand perfectly, it's solid but not too heavy. My only beef is the price of the batteries, but I guess that's true of all cordless tools. Advice - you must shop around as both the driver and batteries vary in price quite widely. I recommend getting the 1/2" drive version, but get a 1/2" to 1/4" adaptor. The half inch driver does come with a hex converter, but I would say a 1/4" adapter is also essential (to make full use of a smaller socket set). Also make sure you also have some deep drive sockets to hand - as the tools chuck and driver is short, which is fine for easily accessible nuts and bolts but then how many of those do you encounter? I find most jobs need a deep drive occasionally, if not frequently.”
