Rank #5 in Best Kids Electric Toothbrush 2026: 9 Ranked, Two Listings Contradict Themselves
Oral-B Pro Junior Electric Toothbrush, Ages 6+, Purple
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Oral-B Pro Junior is the fifth brush in this guide: a purple rechargeable Oral-B handle, sold with one brush head and a charger, listed at £30.00 with 4.3 out of 5 from 2,138 ratings.
The interesting thing about this listing is the opposite of what goes wrong higher up the guide. Its fields do not contradict each other. The bullet says "3 brushing modes"; the spec table says "Number of settings: 3". The title says "for Ages 6+", the last bullet says "suitable for ages 6+" and the Age Range Description field says "6+". The mismatch here is between the listing and the price of its rivals: £30.00 against the £9.40 Colgate, and 4.3 against that brush's 4.7 from 12,131 ratings. Its own review breakdown is also worth a look — of the 100 ratings shown, 68 are five-star and 10 are one-star, a tenth of the sample sitting at the bottom of a product with 2,138 ratings behind it. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from a test we ran.
How those 2,138 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.3 stars.

What buyers actually say
Quoted from customer reviews on Amazon
Verified purchase“We bought 2 Oral B Pro Junior toothbrushes back in May for our 2 sons. It was hard to find electric toothbrushes suitable for children but these are perfect as they are suitable for 6+. They have different symbols on so they don't get them mixed up. We are very impressed with them! They are easy to charge and last over a week after a full charge. They have 3 different brushing settings. The toothbrush has a built in timer that vibrates every 30 seconds so the children know to move to a different area in their mouth. It also has a pressure control which stops the brush if children brush too hard. Great purchase 10/10!”
Verified purchase“This has been used by my 11 year old daughter who wanted a 'grown up' toothbrush that offered a comfortable grip and speed which is gentle but cleans well. It is easy to charge and holds battery well. We have charged it weekly. The integrated pulse reminders when brushing ensures teeth are brushed properly which is a setting that encourages proper brushing habits. The included UK charger uses a 2-pin bathroom plug, so some households may need an adapter for a three pin plug. The replacement heads are easy to purchase and the price of the main unit is a good middle ground for new electric toothbrush users.”
