Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.

The Baby Jogger City Tour 2 sits at number 10 in this guide and costs £201.41, and it is the clearest case here of a listing that does not agree with itself. The first bullet point says the buggy "weighs only 6.5 kg". The Item Weight field in the same listing says 8.3 kg. That is a 1.8 kg gap on the one number this category is named after, and it is the number you feel every time you lift the buggy out of the boot.

The same listing offers a second mismatch: an Item Dimensions figure of 45.5 x 19 x 58 cm alongside a Folded Size of 59.5 x 49.5 x 19 cm. What the page does establish clearly is a 4.4 rating from 214 ratings, suitability from birth up to 22 kg, a one-hand fold with auto-lock that stands on its own, a carry case, and an extendable UV50+ canopy. Every figure on this page comes from the Amazon listing, not from testing we carried out ourselves.

“Fantastic stroller. Bought as a compact stroller to keep in the car or store at the childminders for pick ups. Its easy to fold and unfold. It lies flat for baby to nap. Its nice to push despite small wheels. Started using when baby was 6 months and he sits well in it and looks comfy. Had to buy the rain cover separately.”

“I researched for a long time before deciding on a travel pushchair. My in-laws are portuguese and so I knew we'd need one for many flights and holidays. This exceeded my expectations. It is so lightweight and very easy to put up and down after you've got the hang of it (which only takes a few goes). The hood is nice and long so it covers in the sun and great for when they are sleeping to shield them from light. The basket is a decent size and is very useful for essentials. It can fit in the footwell of cars and is perfect to fold up in restaurants, apartments and to carry up/down stairs. The break is the best break I've had on a pushchair. The turning circle is tiny which again is great for airports and cities. So easy to maneuver and can push it with one hand. Would highly recommend the rain cover too which fits perfectly and has been a godsend in the UK when my main pushchair had a puncture. You can use this pushchair for flights in the hold or in the over head cabin. I was so skeptical but I'm so thrilled with this pushchair. My baby has always been happy in it and the harness is very sturdy and reliable. Being able to lay her down when she's sleeping in it is great for travel too. Reliable, comfortable, lightweight, easy to assemble and maneuver!”
