Rank #3 in Best MIG Welder 2026: 10 Ranked by Numbers That Add Up
Sealey Mightymig100 100A Gasless MIG Welder
Price and rating as shown on Amazon when we collected them. Both change.
The Sealey Mightymig100 is third in this guide: a 100A gasless MIG welder described as 230V, priced at £134.95, rated 4.5 out of 5 from 630 ratings, and ranked 27th in Welders. The bullets stick to the same short list as the title — a heavy-duty high output transformer with forced-air cooling, gasless welding with flux-cored wire only, a maximum performance of 100A, and a box holding a comfort grip non-live torch, a 1.8m earth cable, 0.45kg of flux-cored wire and a 1mm contact tip. There is a three year guarantee behind it.
What earns it third place is that its headline figure survives its own small print. The 100A appears in the title, in the bullet and as 'Gasless MIG Welder 100A' in the specification table, and the listing never reaches for a wattage figure at all — unlike the 145A machine and the Draper reviewed elsewhere in this guide, whose printed wattage cannot be squared with their own amps. The error in this listing is one line further down: the spec table gives 'Item Dimensions L x W x H: 10L x 10W x 10H millimetres' for a machine it also lists at an item weight of 14.5 kg. A 14.5 kg welder is not a 10mm cube, so one of those two entries is wrong, and the listing does not tell you which. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing as it stands; we have not put this welder on a bench, and none of these figures is a measurement of ours.
How those 630 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.5 stars.
