Verified purchase“It's small and light but surprisingly capable. Installing the spool was fiddly, but no more so than most other wig welders. It is Important to have the Earth clamp on the positive terminal for flux core welding, as detailed in the instructions. I used it to repair bolt holes in a van floor left after removing unwin rails, plug welding the smaller ones and patching others with 1mm mild steel. It worked best on this thin material with voltage and current set to minimum and was very controllable. Around 100 holes sorted, including patches on 3" holes where ducting had been fitted and it didn't miss a beat. Very impressed. The only negative is the mess left by the flux, but that's not the machine's fault.”
