The RRGFB infrared sauna blanket is number 5 in this guide: a heated blanket you lie in rather than a cabin you sit in, listed at £130.86 with a 1-60 minute timer and an 86-158°F temperature range. The product details give it as 180.34 x 78.74 x 0.66 cm and 3.9 kg, in waterproof oxford fabric. That 180.34 cm works out at 5.92 ft, which the title rounds up to 6 ft. Unlike the tents in this guide, the listing states no wattage at all — the power source field reads only "ac" — so there is no wattage figure here to set against the £62.62 or the £199.99 tent.
The number that does not hold is the rating count. The page shows 4.3 out of 5 from 119 ratings, but the star breakdown on the same page is 10 one-star, 2 two-star, 7 three-star, 11 four-star and 70 five-star — a total of 100, nineteen short of the headline figure. The Best Sellers Rank runs the other way: 508,494 in DIY & Tools, but 64 in Saunas. Every figure on this page is taken from the Amazon listing; we have not tested the blanket ourselves.
How those 119 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.3 stars.
