This is the most-reviewed portable steam sauna in the ten: 498 ratings at 4.2 stars, against 62 for the cheaper MQFORU tent. It costs £118.99 for a 1000W generator and a 2.6-litre tank — less steam capacity than the 3L units further down, at roughly double the price. What the listing says you get for the difference is independent lab testing for VOCs, a 3.0 version patent held by an NHS doctor, and a 145 x 80 x 80 cm tent that packs onto spring steel poles.

The wattage looks low next to the 1200W tents, but the footprint is smaller. Runitude's 1000W spread across a 1.45 x 0.80 m floor works out at roughly 860W per square metre. The 1200W MQFORU, at 1.95 x 0.90 m, works out at about 680W/m². So the maker's kW/m² claim survives a check against the nearest rival. The build is oxford canvas with an inner foot mat plus a fleece outer mat, and the sit-in shape is designed for a carpeted room.
